STRIFE

Fields lie fallow. Infants cough in their cots. Beasts and men starve and are eaten by the same flies. O, accursed days! Do what you must to seek the blessed waters of St. Mitchum, the infant knight. It is your only hope.

STRIFE is a single-player, doomed journaling RPG. It is open-ended, very light on rules and intended to be a prompt for the player to explore a blighted and twisted landscape of their own making. Cartography, drawing, writing and music-making are central to navigating the world of STRIFE. Outcomes are bad far more often than they are good, and failure lurks in every interaction.

It requires one d4, paper and a pencil.
